This song was written one Shabbat morning at home in my loungeroom.
Teshuva is the hebraic word for turning from your ways that are not Yah's and RETURNING to Him and His ways; true repentance.
In many ways, it is a simple concept yet in the flesh it can be very hard to actually DO!
My heart's desire is to be able to hear and obey my God because I LOVE Him! Not because I feel bullied to or condemned but out of my desire to honour Him because of my great love for Him.
The Torah is the hebrew word for God's written laws (captured specifically in the first five books of the Bible but also mentioned throughout).
Yehovah, according to the STRONG'S CONCORDANCE, is the, 'the proper name of the one true God' with the transliteration of Yehovah.
I still say other names for Yah (the shortened version) too but since it is His Name then I love to call Him by His name (just as I like to be called my own!)
