Lyrics: Shabbat Shalom

An uplifting song to sing on Shabbat.
Yah lovingly gave us a day to rest, restore and remember Him. He set this day apart from the beginning of creation.
Yeshua upheld all the Law (torah) and said that,
"Not even till heaven and earth pass away will even the smallest stroke of the law be done away with"
(Matthew 5:17)
The oral law of man is burdensome; full of tiresome commands.
The written commands that Yehovah gave for us, His people, are supposed to be 'life' to us.
The apostle Paul said,
"I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect. I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophetsand I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man"
(Acts 24:14-16)
The law remains and the blessings of following Yah's ways remain also.
Although we are not in the physical land of Israel, we are able to still enjoy the blessing of resting, restoring and remembering our Maker on this special set apart day.
May you truly be blessed as you enter His rest.
